Actress Katie Stevens, most notably known for portraying the role of Jane Sloan on the TV series The Bold Type, announced exciting family news at the Country Music Association Awards last evening. Katie and her husband, songwriter Paul DiGiovanni, are expecting their first child together!

While walking the carpet at the CMA Awards, Katie was dressed in a blue Roland gown that featured gold embroidered detailing and feathered and floral appliqués, which showed off her growing baby bump. The Boys Like Girls guitarist cradled his wife’s bump as they posed for photographs. The couple has not made any official announcement on their social media pages and no further details, such as Katie’s due date, are known at this time.

The Haunt star dated Paul for four years before he proposed in 2018. The couple tied the knot in Nashville at Saddle Woods Farm on October 12, 2019, surrounded by 250 family and friends. Their wedding day was filled with love and Paul even surprised Katie with a nod to their first date. At the time, the actress reflected, “Our first dance was to ‘I Will Always Be Yours’ by Ben Rector. When we went out for our first dance, Paul surprised me with a video from Ben on the TV screen. Paul asked him if he could make a video singing our first dance song, and he did! It was truly so special.”

The couple recently celebrated 3 years of marriage. To commemorate the occasion, Katie shared a video from their wedding day alongside a touching caption. “3 years ago was the best day of my life, and it’s only gotten better every day since. I love you @paulblg and I’m so lucky that I get to live life with you. Still so grateful that I get to be loved by you. Happy Anniversary.”

Congratulations to Katie and Paul on the news of their first child! We wish them lots of love as they prepare for parenthood.
