Actress Kayla Ewell has announced the arrival of her second child! The Roswell, New Mexico star and her husband, actor Tanner Novlan, welcomed their little one on June 6th.
The couple revealed in February when they announced their pregnancy that they would be welcoming a son. Kayla and Tanner chose to name their son Jones Douglas Novlan. Jones, who was scheduled to arrive in August, was born 7 weeks early. “He couldn’t wait to join us,” Kayla wrote before sharing, “We’re still processing all of this but he & I are both healthy and we couldn’t be more excited to have him here with us.” Kayla’s announcement was accompanied by an image that showed the couple holding Jones’s hand.
Kayla and Tanner share a daughter named Poppy Marie, who will turn three years old in July. When she announced her pregnancy, The Vampire Diaries star shared how excited Poppy was to become a big sister. “She tells everyone on the street, even dogs on the street that she’s a big sister, and she’s really excited about it.”
The couple, who both starred in the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful at different times, met in 2010 on the set of a music video for the Austrailian band Sick Puppies, for which they were both hired to act in. They hit it off and tied the knot five years later in September 2015 at the Jonathan Club in downtown Los Angeles.
