Earlier this month, actress Troian Bellisario made the surprise announcement that she and her husband, fellow actor Patrick Adams, had welcomed their second child together. The Pretty Little Liars star managed to keep her pregnancy a secret. The couple appeared on actress Katie Lowes podcast Katie’s Crib to share the thrilling story of their little one’s arrival.
Troian announced that she welcomed a baby girl named Elliot on May 15th. In her post, she alluded to an interesting birth by sharing, “Ms Elliot Rowena Adams joined us on May 15th under the wildest of circumstances.” During her appearance on Katie’s Crib, the actress revealed that she gave birth to Elliot in a car!
Troian shared that her contractions were getting closer and closer together when she and Patrick arrived at the hospital parking garage. The Suits star shared, “As soon as I hit the button and get the ticket, she’s screaming. I whip around, and by the time I turn my head around, Troian is fully on her hands and knees and we’ve gone nuclear.” The actor then tried to flag down a security guard, who didn’t take him seriously until he heard Troian’s “incredible howls.” The guard went to get help when Troian screamed, “Get my pants off! Pull my pants down!”
Patrick shared that his wife was “on all fours, butt facing the windshield… at my head level, so I just go and pull down her pants, and [Elliot’s] head is right there.” Surprisingly, Patrick remained calm throughout the whole experience because, as he said, there was “no room for panic.” He delivered his daughter himself and the whole thing “took place in the span of about three minutes,” he shared.
That’s definitely an exciting way to enter the world! We’re grateful everything worked out well for this couple. They’ll have an amazing story to share with baby Elliot someday. Congratulations again to Troian and Patrick!
