Actress Zoe Kazan is pregnant! The She Said star is expecting her second child with her partner, actor Paul Dano.
The actress revealed the news in an interview and photoshoot with Marie Claire. The interview was in preparation for Zoe’s new movie She Said, which is based on the New York Times article “Harvey Weinstein Paid Off Sexual Harassment Accusers for Decades” and investigative journalists Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey. The article launched the start of the “Me Too” movement in 2017. Zoe and the Pantheon star do not have active social media pages and are notoriously private about their personal lives. At this time, no further information about Zoe’s pregnancy is known, including her due date.
While the actress did not discuss her pregnancy during her interview, it was revealed through photoshoot images that showed Zoe with a baby bump. She did discuss motherhood a little bit sharing that it is “really hard to balance your priorities. Everyone talks about work-life balance, but it’s also really hard to balance your priorities. I wanted to be the person who took my daughter to her first day of preschool, and I couldn’t do that because I felt like this job, this work was as important as that. And vice versa.”
The couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter, in 2018. The news was revealed during Paul’s appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon two months after his daughter’s arrival. Jimmy asked Paul how it felt to become a father to which the There Will Be Blood star shared, “I’m so tired and I’m so in love. It’s so extreme. Your heart has gone supernova in one sense. And then we landed from London last week and she cried for like 24 straight hours and you kind of just want to walk through a wall.”
Congratulations to Zoe and Paul on the news of their second child! We wish them all the best as they prepare to grow their family.
