Actor Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria have announced exciting news. The couple is growing their family again! Hilaria broke her social media silence after announcing she was taking a break earlier this month to reveal that the couple is welcoming a new baby in the fall.
Hilaria shared a video on Instagram that featured Alec and the couple’s six children together. The video was from the day the couple revealed to their children that a new baby would be joining the family. Hilaria began her caption by writing, “After many ups and downs over the past few years, we have an exciting up and a huge surprise: another Baldwinito is coming this fall.”
This news comes a little over a year after the couple announced the arrival of their sixth child together – which came as quite a surprise. The couple welcomed a daughter named Maria Lucia Victoria six months after welcoming a son named Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas in September 2020. The couple did not reveal whether Maria was welcomed via surrogate or through adoption.
In her announcement, Hilaria revealed that this new arrival came as a surprise, as the couple thought they were done having children together. “We were pretty sure our family was complete, and we’re beyond happy with this surprise. Our new baby is a very bright spot in our lives. A blessing and a gift during such uncertain times.” Alec and Hilaria also opened up about the news and the beauty of having a big family with People. “We have ‘somos un buen equipo’ engraved on our wedding bands. We say that to each other all the time at home — that we’re a good team. One of the most beautiful things my children have experienced with a big family is how the heart can grow with every new sibling. Our capacity to love continues to expand and we can’t wait to embrace our new little one this fall!”
Along with Maria and Eduardo, Alec and Hilaria share three sons and one daughter: Romeo Alejandro David, Leonardo Ángel Charles, Rafael Thomas, Carmen Gabriela. Alec has another daughter, Ireland Eliesse, whom he shares with his ex-wife Kim Basinger.
