Singers Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner, who both rose to fame following their appearance on season 16 of American Idol, have welcomed their second child! The couple announced they were expecting in May of this year in celebration of Mother’s Day.
When the couple announced their pregnancy, they revealed they were expecting a baby boy. Their son was born on October 27th and the couple chose to name him Augustine Boone Foehner. In their joint post, the couple clarified the pronunciation of Augustine’s name: “UH-GUS-TIN.” To share the news, the couple shared a blurred photo of their two children together alongside the caption, “Soaking up the newborn days with baby brother. What a precious gift from our Lord!”
The “I Hope” singer welcomed her first child with Cade in January 2021, a daughter named Baylah May. While the couple does share some images featuring their daughter, they always have her face hidden to protect her privacy.
The country singers first met and began dating while they were both competing on season 16 of American Idol in 2018. They became engaged in March 2019 and tied the knot in October of the same year at Union Springs in Garrison, Texas. In honor of their 3 year wedding anniversary, Cade surprised Gabby by setting up the bed of a truck with a cozy bed in a fall/Halloween setting with pumpkins and hay. There were games and snacks for the couple to enjoy a night under the stars celebrating their marriage. “Happy Anniversary to my man,” Gabby wrote in her post. “You make life sweeter!”
