Congratulations to comedian/actress Amy Schumer and her husband, Chris Fischer — the couple are expecting their first child together!
Amy made the announcement in the most unexpected of ways with her friend, Jessica Yellin of News Not Noise, sharing the baby buzz on her Instagram Stories today.
Yellin said, “I wanted to share some news from our community, maybe it’s noise but it’s happy noise. So I’m not in the business of making voting recommendations, but these are the recommendations of Amy Schumer, one of the most consistent and earliest supporters of News Not Noise.”
She added: “Now read all the way to the bottom, you’ll see there’s some news down there. Congratulations, Amy.”
A quick scan down the list of Amy’s recommended candidates and you’ll see at the bottom: “I’m pregnant-Amy Schumer.”
Amy and Chris were married in a celeb studded ceremony in Malibu in February 2018. At the time, she addressed rumors that they rushed to get married just a few months after dating because they were expecting, to which she shared on social media: “No I’m not pregnant.”
