Singer Ashlee Simpson has announced the arrival of her third child, her second with husband Evan Ross, actor and musician.
Ashlee shared a photo of her new bundle of joy wrapped in a swaddle while her and Evan’s hands laid on top of his little belly. It’s a boy! She shared that her son arrived on October 29th. The couple has chosen to name their son Ziggy Blu Ross. Such a cool name! Ashlee also wrote in her caption, “I’m over the MOON and we are so Blessed.”
Evan, son of Motown legend Diana Ross, shared the same image on his Instagram page. He also shared the date his son was born and his name. He added, “IM IN HEAVEN.”
Ashlee and Evan announced in April that they would be adding another baby to their growing family. The musicians share a 4-year-old daughter together named Jagger Snow. Ashlee also has an 11-year-old son named Bronx Mowgli from her previous relationship to Fall Out Boy band member Pete Wentz.
Ashlee and Evan met at a friend’s birthday party and it was love at first sight! The couple subsequently tied the knot in 2014 at Evan’s mother’s home in Greenwich, Connecticut. For her big day, Ashlee wore a dazzling gown decorated with pearls and completed the look with Neil Lane rubies and diamonds that were reportedly worth $750K. To help celebrate the day, Diana Ross performed for the couple and their guests.
