Reality stars Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon have announced the arrival of their first child! The couple, who met and fell in love on Bachelor In Paradise, welcomed their little one on January 31st – a date that has great significance for Ashley’s family.
The couple previously shared the name they chose for their son. In January, they hosted an Amazon Live session where they revealed his name: Dawson Demitri Haibon. They shared that they chose the name after Leonardo DiCaprio’s character Jack Dawson in Titanic. But it looks like the couple decided to give another name to their son!
“Dawson entered the world on a very important day in our family,” Ashley began her post announcing her son’s arrival. “January 31st is not only my mom’s birthday but also the day my parents met 44 years ago.” She shared a little bit about her experience delivering her son, “We pretty much had the best labor and delivery experience you could ever ask for thanks to INOVA Fairfax hospital and the NOVA Group For Women. I feared it forever and it wasn’t that bad!”
The reality star ended her post by gushing about her son and how the family is adjusting to life with a newborn. “Right now we’re enjoying the sleepiest, calmest baby we’ve ever met. Dawson did not get his chill from his parents. He did get his feet from me, his chin from Jared, one of his names from a Leo character, and another one of his names from, well, see Jared’s IG caption. We love him so much and are feeling so blessed!!”
In Jared’s first post with Dawson, he simply captioned the photo with his name: “Meet Dawson Dimitri Brady Haibon.” When the couple revealed the gender of their baby, Ashley joked in her caption, “His name will not be Tom or Brady,” referring to former Patriots football player and recently retired Tom Brady. Well, it looks like the name Brady snuck in!
