Reality star Nick Viall is a dad! The former Bachelor star has announced the birth of his first baby, whom he shares with his partner Natalie Joy. The couple revealed in August that they were expecting a baby.
Nick and Natalie are the proud parents of a baby girl, whose sex they revealed last September. The couple chose to name their daughter River Rose Viall. River was born on February 2nd and “named after Natalie’s great grandmother and niece.” Before revealing their daughter’s sex, Nick touched on where the couple was on name choice. “We have a favorite, but Natalie is determined to wait throughout the remaining pregnancy before fully committing to a name.” In the couple’s joint announcement post on Instagram, they shared a selection of photos from River’s first few days since arriving.
Fellow reality stars took to the Viall Files podcaster’s post to wish congratulations on his new arrival. Bachelor alum Becca Tilley wrote, “Wow she is perfect!!! Congratulations! That is the cutest nose I have ever seen!” Dancing with the Stars pro Peta Murgatroyd, who announced her own pregnancy today, commented, “The best part of life really does start now!! Omg she is beautiful guys! Congratulations.”
Nick and Natalie have been together since 2020, but did not publicly reveal they were in a relationship until January 2021. The two began dating after Natalie slid into the reality star’s DMs, which is a story he shared on his podcast shortly after revealing the two were together. Last January, the couple revealed they were engaged. This year, on the one-year anniversary of their engagement, Natalie shared a touching post on Instagram writing, “A year and 2 days ago the man of my dreams asked me to marry him!!!! and now our baby girl will be at our wedding, she won’t remember a thing but the photos will be iconic 🤍 thank u for loving us the way u do! she’ll have you wrapped around her finger.”
