Reality star Clare Crawley is going to become a mother! The season 16 Bachelorette announced that she and her husband Ryan Dawkins are expecting their first baby to be born via surrogate. Clare announced the news with a cute reveal.
Starting her apropo caption, Clare wrote, “Our laundry is about to get a whole lot cuter in 2024!!” The comment referenced the video announcement, which showed Clare carrying a wicker basket of laundry outdoors to Ryan, who was standing at a clothing line. The couple hung clothes on the line until a onesie appeared, which read “Worth the Wait!” The video was set to the song “What Dreams Are Made Of” by Brett Morgan. The Soil Rituals founder revealed at the close of her caption, “Baby Dawkins will be arriving via our amazing angel surrogate, in January 2024!!”
In her post, Clare also reflected on her journey to motherhood. “This TRULY is what my dreams are made of! I can’t tell you how hard it has been to hold this secret in, as I’ve shared the last 10 years of my life with you all! This is one journey though that Ryan and I have been keeping close to our hearts as we navigated the uncertain world of IVF and all that comes with it up until this point. I can’t wait to share it all with you soon what it’s been like for us, and until then, we are so incredibly grateful to @eggwhisperer for making miracles happen!”
Clare, who has appeared on The Bachelor in season 18 as well as Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelor Winter Games, began dating Ryan in September 2021. The two met on the heels of Clare’s breaking off her engagement to Dale Moss, whom she became engaged to on The Bachelorette. Clare and Ryan got engaged in October 2022 and tied the knot a few months later in February 2023.
Congratulations to Clare and Ryan on the news of their first baby!
