Actor Brant Daugherty is a father of two! To celebrate the start of a new year, the Pretty Little Liars alum revealed that he and his wife Kim Hidalgo, a fellow actor, welcomed their second baby together. “We were gonna post for the holidays but ended up having the merriest Christmas of all.”
Brant shared a series of pictures of his family with their new arrival on his Instagram. The couple welcomed their second baby boy and chose to name him Aero Lore Daugherty. Many of the Hallmark star’s images featured the couple’s son Wilder David, who was born on March 24, 2021.
Brant and Kim met on a dating app three years before tying the knot in June 2019. The Fifty Shades Freed star proposed to Kim on Valentine’s Day while on vacation in Amsterdam. The two went on to say their “I dos” in Northern California. When they announced they were growing their family, the couple shared that they were “both ready for the next chapter.” Kim went on to explain, “We’re at that point in our lives where we are ready and excited to be parents. It’s something we both knew we wanted. It’s so special to start a family of our own.” Brant added, “When we were first dating and thinking about being exclusive, we had a talk about what we wanted for the future. Marriage and kids were high on the list. It’s exciting to be at this point now, so far along in the plan.”
Aside from working together in their marriage and as parents, the couple have found professional work together as well. The couple have co-written three movies together, two of which appeared on Hallmark’s Christmas movie line-up. Their most recent film, Joyeaux Noel, starred Brant in the role of the leading man.
Congratulations to Brant and Kim on the arrival of their second baby!
