Earlier this month, it was reported that actor Brian Austin Green was expecting his first child with his girlfriend Sharna Burgess, a dance professional on Dancing with the Stars. Today, both Brian and Sharna confirmed the news… and share more details about their pregnancy!
The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum shared an image of the couple on a beach that featured a close-up of Sharna’s growing baby bump, covered in a floral dress. Brian held her stomach in his hand as sunlight poured over them. “We want to thank everyone for the amazingly kind well wishes,” the actor began his post. He then revealed two pieces of big news about his newest arrival. It’s a boy! The couple is expected to welcome their first child together around the Fourth of July. “We are really excited to be welcoming a baby boy on or around the 4th of July.” He ending his post with a touching message to his partner, “[Sharna,] I cannot wait to see you hold your/our baby.”
Sharna shared her own announcement on her Instagram page that featured a different image. The black and white photo, taken by Brain’s oldest son Kassius, showed Brian and his other three children touching Sharna’s growing baby bump. “And suddenly my world would never be the same,” the dancer shared in her post, “Forever greater, forever expanded and deeper. Forever abundant and unconditional.” She also shared a message to Brian writing, “I love our family, I love that it’s growing and I love you. How did we get so lucky.”
Brian shares his three younger children with his ex-wife, actress Megan Fox: Noah Shannon, 9, Bodhi Ransom, 7, and Journey River, 5. Kassius, who is 19-years-old, is from a previous relationship.
Congratulations again to Brian and Sharna on growing their family! We wish them all the best as they prepare to welcome their baby boy this summer.
