Actress Brianne Howey, most noteably known for portraying the role of Georgia in the Netflix original series Ginny & Georgia, has welcomed her first baby! The actress announced in March that she was pregnant with her and her husband Matt Ziering’s first child and now, their little one has arrived. “Welcome my little love.”
The new mom shared a touching image of herself holding her little one close while lying in a hospital bed. Brianne beamed from ear to ear. “My whole world just got a whole lot sweeter. And smaller,” she captioned her post. Brianne did not share any details about her little one including their name, birth date, or sex.
Fellow members of the hit streaming series celebrated with Brianne in the comments of her post. Actress Antonia Gentry, who plays Brianne’s TV daughter Ginny, commented, “OH MY GOD CONGRATULATIONS.” Actor Felix Mallard wrote, “Congratulations to you both!!!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️” while showrunner Debra J. Fisher commented, “So many happy tears. Congratulations!”
Brianne and Matt, a lawyer, went public with their relationship in 2014 after meeting through mutual friends. The couple were set to marry in October 2020, but had to postpone their nuptials due to the coronavirus pandemic. They went on to tie the knot the following year surrounded by family and friends at a private residence in Palos Verdes, California. Of her wedding day, the actress shared with PEOPLE at the time, “It was the most beautiful feeling to be surrounded by so many people we love. The night was more magical than I could have ever imagined. I wish all of my nights could end with a Son of a Gun fried chicken sandwich and a Spice Girls dance party.”
Congratulations to Brianne and Matt on the arrival of their first baby! We wish them all the best as they embrace their new role as parents.
