Professional race car driver Bubba Wallace is a dad! The NASCAR driver announced the birth of his first baby with his wife Amanda Carter. “So excited for this journey!”
Bubba and Amanda shared a joint Instagram post announcing their little one’s arrival with a series of images from their hospital stay. The couple welcomed a baby boy on September 29th and named him Becks Hayden Wallace. “Amanda and I would like to introduce you to Becks Hayden!” Bubba wrote in the post. The new dad went on to gush, “We were blessed with his presence Sunday 9/29☺️ 9 months of waiting on this little guy, he’s made it all worth it!”
When announcing their pregnancy, the couple shared that their little one was due in October during the same week as Bubba’s birthday, October 8th. Becks made an earlier arrival than expected, arriving 10 days before his dad’s birthday. At the time, the couple shared a poem for their pregnancy announcement writing on Instagram, “Spring has sprung. Summer will be rad. Fall is the first time, We’ll be mom and dad!”
Bubba and Amanda first met while attending high school in North Carolina. Their relationship didn’t turn romantic until after graduation. On New Year’s Eve in 2022, the couple tied the knot in Charlotte, North Carolina. Following his nuptials, the race car driver gushed about his wife, “Getting married, and starting a new life together, I’m just so excited to have a good one in my corner. We have so much fun together.”
