Actor Chad Michael Murray is adding a new baby to his family! The Sullivan’s Crossing star and his wife, actress Sarah Roemer, are expecting their third baby together. “Baby #3 loading…”
The One Tree Hill alum didn’t share any details about his new baby, but it looks like Sarah is pretty far along in her pregnancy. The actor shared an image of his wife to reveal the couple’s news and apologized for the photo quality adding, “forgive the quality of the photo- alas I’m still on IPhone 8 becoz I love the button and won’t trade it away. Sometimes I see ppl staring at my phone with button envy and I get it.”
This little one will be the first child the couple has welcomed since the birth of their second baby in 2017. Chad addressed the timeline by asking in his post, “Anyone know any new gadgets for babies? It’s been a bit since we had one.” The couple welcomed their first child, a son, in 2015 and the baby they welcomed in 2017 is a girl. They have not shared the names of their children and when they share images of their kids online, they are careful not to reveal their faces. The Fortress star met Sarah on the set of the series Chosen in 2014. The couple secretly married the following year in January before revealing they were pregnant. Their son was born a few months after sharing their marriage and pregnancy news.
In December 2020, the Gilmore Girls alum opened up about how fatherhood changed his perspective on life and how that’s affected his acting career moving forward, specifically how he’s choosing to star in family-friendly films. “I’m a family guy. Put God and family first, that’s how we run, and these [films] cater to that in a large way. They’re family films. I believe in that.” He went on to explain how his career impacts his kid’s lives. “It’s better than my kids going to school in the upcoming years and having their dad’s posted up someone’s locker or something like that. It feeds the soul for the current place that we’re in, and I personally think that the world needs more of it. I think the light there is good for the world. It feeds the spirit and that’s what we need.”
