Last month, reality star Clare Crawley, who appeared in season 16 of The Bachelorette, announced that she and her husband Ryan Dawkins were expecting their first baby via surrogate. Clare has now revealed more news about her little one. In a sweet video, the reality star revealed the sex of her first baby.
Clare posted a simple Instagram Reel to her social media page with a close-up of a white cake on a wooden cutting board. Slowly, she cut the cake with a silver cake cutter, making cuts in a triangle shape. Once she made two cuts, she placed the cutter under the slice and pulled it out to reveal the color pink. It’s a girl! In the caption, Clare, who has long desired to become a mother, reflected on the moment writing, “For the last 10 years I’ve had the same dream over and over. The dreams were so vivid and real of my baby coming into my life. All the beautiful details down to the gender and name. 🤍 So this special moment was not a surprise for me!” While she made mention of a name, she did not reveal it as of yet.
Clare and Ryan are expecting their first baby together in January 2024. While this little one is Clare’s first baby, this will be baby number 3 for the CEO of Mascot Sports. He has two daughters from a previous relationship. When announcing her family was growing, the reality star reflected on her journey to motherhood. “This TRULY is what my dreams are made of! I can’t tell you how hard it has been to hold this secret in, as I’ve shared the last 10 years of my life with you all! This is one journey though that Ryan and I have been keeping close to our hearts as we navigated the uncertain world of IVF and all that comes with it up until this point. I can’t wait to share it all with you soon what it’s been like for us, and until then, we are so incredibly grateful to @eggwhisperer for making miracles happen!”
