CNN Newsroom journalist Poppy Harlow and her husband, Sinisa Babcic, have welcomed their first child – a daughter named Sienna.

Harlow shared the announcement via Instagram, writing: “Meet our little girl Sienna! 8.5 pounds and a bundle of joy! She was born right on her due date making deadline like a true journalist.  We’re over the moon with excitement and love.”

In December of 2015, Harlow gave viewers a brief scare in when she passed out while broadcasting live from the anchor desk.  She recovered quickly and returned to air to explain that she had gotten too hot and assured viewers that she and her (then) unborn daughter were both well.

Sienna is the first child for Harlow and Babcic; the couple married in September of 2012.
