Professional dancer Witney Carson is growing her family! The Dancing with the Stars pro revealed on the show last night that she and her husband, Carson McAllister, are expecting their second child.
“I’m so excited to finally announce that Carson, Leo, and myself are expecting baby number two,” Witney shared on stage. “I’m so blessed and this just felt like a really good time to share it, and I can finally share it, which feels great. I’m very blessed.” Later that evening, Witney shared an Instagram Reel to her social media page that featured her holding a pregnancy test and reveling in the news with her family. She shared that her second child is due to arrive in May 2023.
Witney and Carson, who tied the knot in January 2016, welcomed their first child in January 2021, a son named Kevin Leo McAllister, whom they call Leo. In her announcement post, Witney shared that she “can’t wait to see Leo be a big brother.”
In August of this year, the dancer candidly opened up about life as a working mom in a video that featured the mom getting glammed and photographed while Leo was nearby. “Ive been reflecting on something a friend told me the other day… It’s possible to feel both completely overwhelmed as a working mom and extremely grateful. It’s a tricky balance, one I’m working on everyday. Guilty for not working and guilty for working…. Anytime I feel guilty about not being home with my son, I remember who I’m doing it for.”
