Earlier this year, it was confirmed that singer Aubrey O’Day was pregnant with her first child. Less than two months since the announcement, the Danity Kane frontwoman has revealed the loss of her child.

Aubrey opened up about the loss exclusively with E! News sharing, “I’m beyond heartbroken to announce that I’ve had a miscarriage. This isn’t my first pregnancy, but it is the first time I was mentally healthy and in a physically prepared place to care for another life.” The “Show Stopper” singer remains hopeful that she will become a mother in the future. “When my baby is ready, he/she will come and forever be my grateful miracle.”

The singer felt opening up about her loss was important and shared a poignant message with the news outlet for others who have faced the loss of a pregnancy. “I want all the women out there in the world that have experienced this grief to feel all the love my soul has to offer, and more importantly remain reminded that we are here to support each other! So if you need someone to talk to, reach out to me on Instagram [@aubreyoday] and I will be your sounding board and someone you can confide in.”

Aubrey also reflected on the importance of parents having a village and that she hopes she can be a part of that community as well. “Let’s value, appreciate, and have an immense amount of respect for all the moms out there and the rest of us who will be unstoppable during our pursuit to becoming moms one day! There are also so many children who need happy and healthy homes, so being a mother and a leader will never be something we can’t all have!”

Since opening up about her loss, Aubrey revealed that her Instagram DMs have been flooded with messages of love. Many shared their own personal stories of miscarriage as well as expressed their sorrow for her loss. “I’m reading them all in tears,” Aubrey said of the outreach. We wish Aubrey lots of love during this difficult time.
