HGTV host Drew Scott is adding another bundle of joy to his family! The Property Brothers host announced today that he and his wife Linda Phan are expecting their second baby together. The news comes less than two years after the couple welcomed their first baby together.
To announce the news, Drew shared an image of his wife wearing a chambray dress that showed off her baby bump. The couple’s first baby, son Parker James, was shown reaching up to touch his mom’s belly. Drew quipped in the caption, “I hope Parker’s ready for a lil company.” Drew and Linda did not reveal when their newborn is expected to arrive.
The At Home podcasters have been together for 13 years and tied the knot in 2018. Their son Parker actually arrived on the couple’s fourth wedding anniversary on May 4th. At the time, Drew joked on the couple’s podcast, “Parker decided to come very efficiently on our anniversary. He’s stealing the show. It’s no longer about you and me on our anniversary.”
Prior to becoming pregnant, the couple struggled with infertility, which they had been publicly open about. The couple went through IUI and eventually IVF, which is how Parker was conceived. When announcing their first pregnancy, they wrote a meaningful post addressing their challenges and recognizing the community of others going through the same infertility battle. “It has been an adventure to get here! We know we’re not alone in this experience and that everyone’s is filled with unique challenges along the way.” They went on to detail their experience writing, “When we first started down this path, we quickly felt sooooo appreciative of the doctors we’ve been fortunate to work with, and fam and friends who supported us throughout, sharing their stories or simply just being there. It made an overwhelming time in our lives more manageable. We hope as we grow through this, that even one of you reading this can also feel a little less lonely in whatever path you’re on!”
