HGTV star Drew Scott has added another bundle of joy to his family! The Property Brothers star has welcomed his second baby with his wife Linda Phan. “Our family of 3 has become 4!”
To announced his family’s news, Drew shared two close-up pages of his newborn, with the first one showing the couple and their first baby holding the newborn’s foot and the second showing the couple holding the baby’s hand. Drew and Linda, who announced their pregnancy in January, welcomed a baby girl and chose to name her Piper Rae.
The At Home podcasters appear to have chosen a naming pattern for their children: monikers with the letter P. The couple’s first baby, a son born in 2022, is named Parker James. For Parker’s second birthday last month, Linda wrote of her son on Instagram, “So much to celebrate today and everyday. Parky really knew when to make his entrance into this world. He teaches us so much about love.”
Drew and Linda have been together for over 13 years and tied the knot in 2018. The couple has been open about their pregnancy journey, going through IUI and then eventually IVF to conceive Parker. For baby Piper, the couple actually conceived naturally. In an interview with TODAY, Drew recalled who the couple had been discussing seeing their fertility endocrinologist to begin the process of growing their family. Linda suddenly started to feel “super bloated.” The HGTV star shared, “She did four pregnancy tests and they were all positive. So we checked in (with the doctor), and she was over three months pregnant.” The disveory was “mind-blowing” for the couple and Drew explained, “Any signs that could potentially be a ‘you’re pregnant’ sign, you just throw out the window, because you’ve been told that’s not possible … I mean, it’s actually kind of amazing.”
Congratulations to Drew and Linda on the arrival of baby Piper!
