Professional dancers Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov are becoming parents! The couple, who both appear on Dancing with the Stars, announced today that they are expecting their first child together.
The couple shared a joint post on Instagram that featured them holding each other while Daniella held a small sneaker in her hand. “Baby Pashkov coming May ’23 🤍 We love you more than words could ever express.” Daniella opened up with People about the couple becoming pregnant sharing, “”We’ve wanted a family ever since we’ve gotten married and we’ve been married for eight and a half years, so we are more than ready to have a baby. We wanted to start planning this year and it just so happened that the timing was absolutely perfect. I actually found out I was pregnant on premiere day.”
The couple is planning to learn the sex of their first child over the Thanksgiving holiday and shared what they are hoping to have. “Pasha and I really want a girl, but as long as the baby’s healthy, that’s all we really care about.” The dancers have had fun guessing what sex their baby is, as Pasha shared. “Sometimes we subconsciously talk about the baby as a ‘he,’ sometimes a ‘she,’ so every day it feels different. When we told our family, everybody’s having different guesses.”
As far as becoming a parent, Daniella, who has been married to Pasha since 2014, is hopeful motherhood will come naturally. “I feel like it’ll come second nature to us. I cannot wait to watch Pasha become a dad because he is unreal with kids. There’s no anxiety, there’s no stress. I feel a sense of calmness. The baby is going to change our life only for the better.” Daniella also kindly quipped about how much love she has for her little one. “We’re probably going to suffocate the kid with love and they’re going to be so annoyed with us kissing them all the time. There’s just so much love to give and I cannot wait to finally give it to a little baby.”
