Witney shared a photo of her son swaddled in a blanket in a hospital bassinet with a circular wooden sign with the name Leo on it. In the caption, Witney shared his full name: Kevin Leo McAllister. The professional shared that her son is named after his grandfather, Carson’s dad, who passed away in 2018 after battling pancreatic cancer for nearly two years. “Named after his grandpa who sent him down to us.”
It appears, however, that Witney’s son will be going by his middle name of Leo, which means lion, as that’s the name she used in the picture and how she referred to him in her caption. “My little Leo, I love you more than words can express. You are the most precious gift. My life will forever be changed by your sweet spirit. Welcome to the world Leo.” Witney shared some birth details about her son as well. He was born on January 3rd, 2021 weighing 7 lbs, 2 oz, and was 21″ long.
A day after announcing her son’s arrival, Witney shared a touching Reel to Instagram that gave an inside look at some of the moments of the couple’s first 24-hours with Leo. The video was set to the Calum Scott song “You Are The Reason.” In the caption, Witney reflected on her first hours as a mother, “Everyone tells you how special bringing life into this world is but you never know exactly what they mean until it happens to you. This is my whole entire world.”
