Former New York Yankees player Derek Jeter has grown his family with his wife Hannah once again. The couple has announced the arrival of their fourth child but had not previously revealed they were expecting. This is not the first time the couple has chosen to keep a pregnancy a secret.

Derek and Hannah welcomed their little one on May 5th and they had their first son! The couple chose to name their newest family member Kaius Green Jeter. With the news of his new arrival, Derek updated his Instagram bio to read, in part, “Sleep-deprived father of four.”

Kaius joins the Jeter family with three older sisters: Bella Raine, 5, Story Grey, 4, and River Rose, 1. River’s arrival was announced in a similar fashion to Kaius’ birth. The couple announced River’s birth without previously sharing Hannah’s pregnancy news.

The Player’s Tribune co-founder and the Sports Illustrated model first met through mutual friends in 2012. The couple tied the knot in 2016 in an intimate ceremony in St. Helena, California at the Meadowood Napa Valley Resort. After the MLB player retired from baseball and before the couple had tied the knot, he had shared, “I look forward to being a dad.” The father of four appears to enjoy his role as a father, sharing photos with his daughters here and there on his Instagram page and engaging in family fun.

Congratulations to Derek and Hannah on the arrival of their fourth child! We wish them all the best in welcoming Kaius into their family.
