Actress Tatyana Ali has some exciting news to share – she is engaged and expecting!  Ali made the announcement to Entertainment Tonight, confirming that she will marry her fiancé, Dr. Vaughn Rasberry, this summer.  She told the newscast, “Planning our wedding has been so exciting, but when we found out we were expecting, our perspective shifted completely,” adding, “We want our ceremony to really celebrate our newest blessing.”

The pair met through online dating website eHarmony a year and a half ago.  Ali, a Harvard graduate, and Dr. Rasberry, an assistant professor at Stanford University, became engaged in Yosemite National Park after a hike in the Redwoods. She described the moment as taking place in “the most picturesque clearing…Just the two of us. It was so thoughtful and perfect. We’re best friends.”

After news broke, the former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star thanked her fans for their support on Facebook. She wrote, “Thanks so much to everyone wishing us well, it means so much! I’m so excited for this new chapter. Wife and mommy all at the same time. Luckily, I’ll be sharing the adventure with my best friend. We feel so blessed.”
