Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa have welcomed their first child together! The reality stars announced in July they were expecting and later shared they would be having a boy. The couple’s son was born on January 31st. “Our hearts are so happy.”
In a joint Instagram post, the Selling Sunset star and Flip or Flop alum shared an image of each of their hands placed over their newborn, whose face was hidden. They have not shared the name they chose for him yet, though they have previously alluded to having chosen a name already. “Our baby boy is here. Mama & baby are happy, healthy, [and] tired but doing well.”
In an exclusive statement with US Weekly, the couple gushed about the arrival of their son. “Becoming a father for the third time is just as exciting as it was the first time,” Tarek shared. “Our baby boy is doing amazing and Heather was a rockstar during labor. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Tay and Bray as happy as they were when they met their little brother.” Tarek shares two children, Taylor and Brayden, with his ex-wife Christina Hall.
Tarek shared that their son’s birth was a “truly a special moment” for The Flipping El Moussas stars. “We are on cloud 9 and soaking in all of the snuggles and bonding with our little guy as an official family of 5. My heart has grown even bigger and I’m feeling like the luckiest guy on the planet.”
Ahead of her son’s arrival, Heather opened up about her newfound appreciation for mothers, including her own. “Growing our boy in my belly has been the biggest life-changing eye-opening experience. Moms of ALL kinds are superheroes & are so strong, I genuinely have a newfound appreciation for everything my mom did for me. We actually have a lot of similarities in our pregnancies and I even think we look a little alike too,” she shared showing an image of her pregnancy alongside an image of her mother during pregnancy.
Congratulations to Heather and Tarek on the arrival of their son! We wish them lots of love and look forward to hearing the name they have chosen for their little one, should they decide to share it.
