Actress Jackie Cruz is growing her family! The Orange is the New Black alum announced that she and her husband Fernando Garcia are expecting their third baby together. Jackie debuted her baby bump at the Snow Ball charity gala in Aspen, Colorado.
At the event, the actress took to the red carpet wearing a cut-out, fitted black gown that exposed her growing baby bump. She cradled her bump as she posed for pictures. The Say a Little Prayer star didn’t share any details about her pregnancy including her due date or her baby’s sex. Prior to the event, the actress shared a post of her exiting a hotel room dressed casually before exposing her baby bump to officially share her news. In the caption she wrote, “What makes me confident… this love growing inside me.”
The actress and her artist husband, who tied the knot in August 2020, welcomed twins in March 2022. The couple had one boy and one girl but have not revealed the names they chose for their babies. Jackie is no stranger to keeping her personal life private. Prior to announcing her current pregnancy, the actress has been living off the grid in Mexico, but is making a return to Hollywood with some new projects on the horizon.
Last Mother’s Day, the BOYMOM star penned a touching post about motherhood on Instagram. “As I reflect on my journey into motherhood, I’ve found that the insecurities I once harbored melted away the moment I saw my children. In them, I see reflections of myself, flaws and all, yet I see nothing but beauty staring back at me. It’s incredible how our children become our greatest teachers,” she continued, “showing us new depths of love and wisdom we never knew existed. While we aim to impart knowledge, the true gift lies in the lessons they teach us. My love for my babies knows no bounds—it stretches beyond the furthest reaches of the universe. They are my world, filling my life with immeasurable joy and purpose.” She went on to address her children directly, writing, “Today, I feel truly cherished. My children, both my son and daughter, are my everything, and I am theirs.”
