Reality star Jedidiah Duggar, who goes by the nickname Jed, has grown his family by one more! Jed and his wife Katey Duggar (née Nakatsu) have announced the arrival of their second baby together. “We’re so in love.”
The couple welcomed a baby girl, whose sex they revealed at the end of last year. The reveal came just a few weeks after the couple announced they were expecting seven months after welcoming their first child. Jed and Katey chose to name their baby girl Nora Kate.
When revealing their daughter’s sex last year, the couple also revealed the name they had chosen, which is the name they ended up using. At the time, Katey spoke about the choice sharing, “Nora means light and Kate means pure.” They also shared that had their first child been a girl, they would have used this name. However, the couple’s first child was a boy whom they named Truett Oliver, who goes by the nickname True. In addition to announcing the birth of their daughter, the couple shared a video on their YouTube channel of Katey’s birth story. The 8-minute video shows the couple in the hospital as Katey labors before finally welcoming her little one.
Jed and Katey have been married since April 2021 and courted for one year prior to their wedding. To celebrate their second wedding anniversary, the Counting On star shared a post to the couple’s join Instagram writing, “2 years of adventuring together down, and a lifetime to go! No one I’d rather live life with!”
