Reality stars John David Duggar and his wife Abbie Burnett are growing their family! The couple announced that they are expecting their second child due to arrive late this summer. Their announcement also included a gender reveal.
It’s a boy! The couple, who share a joint Instagram account, wrote in the caption of their announcement, likely written by Abbie, “To the little girl who calls me Mommy and our little boy due in late summer, I’ll love you forever!” The image accompanying the post featured Abbie wearing a pink dress with floral detailing, with one hand on her growing baby bump and the other holding her daughter’s hand.
The Counting On stars welcomed their first child in January of 2020, a daughter named Grace Annette Duggar. Their daughter also goes by the nickname Gracie and is featured prominently on the couple’s Instagram page, though they post infrequently.
The couple enjoyed a whirlwind romance after they began courting in June 2018. They had known each other for a few years beforehand but their romance blossomed quickly with John proposing marriage one month later and tying the knot in November of that same year. They were wed in Arkansas on November 3rd, 2018. To celebrate their 3 year anniversary this past year, the couple shared a slideshow of images set to the song “Feel About You” by Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie. The couple captioned the video, “Dreams really do come true!”
