Supermodel Karlie Kloss chose a star-studded event to debut her baby bump! Karlie arrived at the Met Gala in New York City wearing a fitted black column dress, designed by Loewe, that showed off her growing baby bump. This little one will be baby number two for Karlie and her husband, businessman Joshua Kushner.

Following her appearance on the red carpet, the entrepreneur shared a selection of photos featuring the look for the event and teased in the caption, “baby’s first Met.” During interviews with various news outlets, the model gushed about choosing to reveal the news at the gala. “This is the first time I’m sharing the news, so it’s so special,” she told TODAY. “I couldn’t imagine a more special place.” In speaking with ET, Karlie shared, “This is the most important night in fashion, of course, and I’m honestly surprised I could keep it a secret this long.” She then shared that her trick to hide her pregnancy thus far has been “big winter coats!”

Karlie and Joshua, who tied the knot in 2018, welcomed their first child on March 15, 2021 and waited a full month before revealing the name they chose for him: Levi Joseph. The couple infrequently post about their son on social media and when they do, they do not reveal his face.

Last year, ahead of Levi’s first birthday, the Project Runway star shared on the TODAY Show that motherhood is “the greatest joy that I never knew.” She went on to share how her life as changed since becoming a mom. “Everything changes. I think the last few years have changed us as well but becoming a mom? I have become, first of all, so much more efficient with my time. I’m actually on time everywhere now. And I’m always a multitasker … I’m doing a thousand things. But I think priorities just changed.”

Congratulations to Karlie and Joshua on the news of their second child! We wish them lots of love as they prepare to grow their family.
