Actors Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie are parents of two! The couple, who starred as Jon Snow and Ygritte in the HBO series Game of Thrones, is confirmed to have welcomed their second child, as shared by a rep for the couple. The news comes after Kit revealed Rose was pregnant while appearing on The Tonight Show in February.
Kit and Rose now have a daughter! Per their rep, the couple is “delighted to have welcomed a little girl into the family.” No other details about the couple’s newborn were shared, which is not unusual for the couple. Kit and Rose welcomed a son in February 2021 but have not revealed his name.
Despite not sharing personal details about their son, Kit did open up about how he expected his only child to react when a new sibling was brought home. When interviewing with Jimmy Fallon, the Blood for Dust star shared his son was “about to get the shock of his life. Which is that he’s about to get a brother or sister.” He went on to explain, “We’re trying to get him ready for it. We point to Rose’s tummy and we say, ‘Mommy’s baby, mommy’s baby.’ And he points to his tummy and goes, ‘My baby.’ I’m quite sure that’s — yeah, you’ll know soon enough.”
In March, during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kit gushed about his son becoming a brother sharing, “”I don’t know if he’s really conceptually understood anything yet. He’s just loving life. My boy loves life. He charges around, and I think he’s going to be a great older brother. It’s just really exciting.”
