Nearly one year after welcoming her second child, Kylie Jenner has finally revealed the name of her little one. Kylie and her former partner Travis Scott welcomed a son in February 2022 and while they originally shared that his name was Wolf, they later decided the moniker wasn’t suited for him. The couple held the information close to their chest… until now.
Today, Kylie shared the first images of her son’s face. She and Travis had previously shown him covered in other photos. Along with these images, Kylie revealed his name: Aire. It seems as though Kylie had kept a theme with her children’s names as her first child, a daughter, is named Stormi. Weather-inspired names appear to be the reality star’s preference.
Over the last year, Kylie has shared that the original name for his son didn’t suit him and was a suggestion made by sister Khloé. While she liked the name Wolf, it didn’t seem right for Aire. In November, the makeup mogul shared on The Late Late Show that her son’s legal name was still Wolf, such as on his passport and other documentation. “His passport’s Wolf, but that isn’t going to be his name. We’re just waiting.”
The news of Aire’s name comes a few days after it was reported that Kylie and Travis had broken up. The couple, who have had an on-again, off-again relationship since 2017, are reportedly “on a break.” A source close to the couple shared, “The two have had an up and down relationship and although they aren’t together right now, it doesn’t mean it’s over for good. Kylie and Travis live different lifestyles and that’s been a big issue. With two kids, Kylie doesn’t go out too much. Travis on the other hand lives a life of late nights in the studio and going out with friends. The two love and respect each other and will continue to co-parent.”
We wish Kylie and Travis all the best as they continue to parents Stormi and Aire together.
