Actor Macaulay Culkin has confirmed that he has welcomed his first child with his partner, actress Brenda Song! The Home Alone alum confirmed the birth of his child with E! News. He spilled all the details!

The couple welcomed a baby boy in Los Angeles on April 5th. They named their son Dakota Song Culkin. They chose the name Dakota for a very special reason. Macaulay’s older sister Dakota died in 2008 after suffering injuries after being hit by a car and the couple chose to name their son after her.

Dakota weighed 6 lbs. and 14 oz. at birth. On the arrival of his first child, Macaulay shared that he and Brenda are “overjoyed.”

The couple, who have kept their relationship quiet, first sparked romance rumors in 2017. In 2018 during his appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, he discussed starting a family with Brenda. “This one’s a good one, so I’m probably going to put some babies in her in a little bit. I mean, we’ve definitely been practicing.”

For his 40th birthday last August, Brenda shared a rare but touching post about her partner. She wrote, “Happy 40th birthday to this magical being. I could sit here and write endlessly about how wonderful, kind, loving, genuine, loyal, honest, brilliant and hilarious you are, and how grateful I am that I get to share and do this life thing with you. But firstly, that would take me an eternity and secondly, you won’t even see this because you don’t ever use instagram. Hahaha. My unicorn that I never thought could exist, I am luckiest person in the world because I am loved by you.”

Congratulations to Macaulay and Brenda on the arrival of their first child! We wish them all best as they embrace their new roles as parents to baby Dakota.
