Country singer Maddie Marlow has become a mom! The singer, one part of the music duo Maddie & Tae, has announced the birth of her first baby with her husband Jonah Font. “We are so in love.”

Maddie and Jonah announced in April that they were pregnant and revealed that their little one would be a baby boy. The couple’s son was born on September 9th at 4:03 PM and they chose to name him Forrest Henry Font. The “Heart They Didn’t Break” singer opened up about Forrest’s arrival explaining, “After 37 hard hours of labor, finally getting to push, and ending up having an emergency c section and being put under, Forrest Henry Font made his debut.” She went on to thank her medical team for their support. “Thank you to our incredible medical team at St Thomas Midtown for taking incredible care of us and making a really scary experience as calm and comfortable as possible for our little family.”

To close her caption, Maddie gushed about her firstborn writing, ” Forrest is everything Jonah and I could’ve ever dreamed of, and we’d go through it all over again for him 🥹 Thank you Lord for the gift of this perfect boy and this magical time. We are so in love.” Maddie’s singing partner Taylor Dye, who welcomed her first baby last year, congratulated the couple in the comments sharing, “PERFECT ANGEL!!!! I love him so much! Way to go mom and dad!”

The “Die From A Broken Heart” singer met her husband during their sophomore year in high school. The two grew up in Texas and, before Maddie moved to Nashville to pursue her music career at 17, Jonah gave her a promise ring. In 2018, they became engaged and were married a year later in November 2019.

Congratulations to Maddie and Jonah on the arrival of baby Forrest! We wish them all the best as they embark on their new journey as parents.
