Congratulations to Madonna and her family! The singer confirmed rumors that she adopted two girls, posting a photo of herself holding the twin sisters’ hands and providing a little information for fans.
Madonna wrote on Instagram: “I can officially confirm I have completed the process of adopting twin sisters from Malawi and am overjoyed that they are now part of our family. I am deeply grateful to all those in Malawi who helped make this possible, and I ask the media please to respect our privacy during this transitional time. Thank you also to my friends, family and my very large team for all your support and Love!”
Adoption rumors have been swirling since last month, but she she shot down the gossip at the time.
Madonna is mom to David and Mercy James, both from Malawi, as well as Lourdes and Rocco, children from previous relationships.
