Actress Margot Robbie is reportedly gearing up for motherhood! Multiple sources have confirmed with PEOPLE that the Barbie star and her husband Tom Ackerley are expecting their first baby together. Neither are active on social media and haven’t made an official announcement.
News of the couple’s pregnancy comes shortly after the couple were spotted boarding a boat in Lake Como. The Wolf of Wall Street star was seen wearing a white cropped top paired with black trousers and a black blazer. The film producer helped his wife carefully into the boat, taking her hand to lead her in.
The couple met in 2013 on the set of Suite Française, World War II drama. Margot portrayed the role of Celine Joseph in the film while Tom served as an assistant director. They maintained a friendship before entering a relationship in 2014. The couple co-founded LuckyChap Entertainment that same year and were part of a four-person production team that also included Josey McNamara and Margot’s childhood friend Sophia Kerr. LuckyChap went on to produce Margot’s movies I, Tonya, Birds of Prey, and Barbie, directed by Greta Gerwig, as well as other TV series and films. The Suicide Squad star never announced her engagement to Tom but the two tied the knot in 2016. The couple was married in a private ceremony in Australia’s Byron Bay.
