In September of last year, Meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that he and his wife Priscilla Chan, a philanthropist, were adding another bundle of joy to their family. The couple’s third child has made their arrival and the tech entrepreneur wasted no time in sharing his newborn’s name. “You’re such a little blessing.”

The couple had previously revealed that they were expecting a daughter. They have chosen to name her Aurelia Chan Zuckerberg. “Welcome to the world, Aurelia Chan Zuckerberg!” Aurelia is a Latin name that means “golden.”

Aurelia is the third daughter of Mark and Priscilla. The two share seven-year-old Maxima, who goes by Max, and five-year-old August. When wishing his wife a happy birthday on Instagram last month, he revealed that August “likes to call her [Priscilla], the main character in our family.”

Mark and Priscilla have been together for 20 years, meeting for the first time in 2003. The two met in college when he was a sophomore and she was a freshman. Priscilla attended a party at Mark’s fraternity at Harvard University and they met while standing in line for the bathroom. The couple moved in together in September 2010 in Palo Alto and tied the knot two years later. Their wedding was a surprise for their family and friends, who they invited to their home under the guise of hosting a celebration for Priscilla’s graduation from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) medical school, where she had received her degree in pediatrics.

Congratulations to Mark and Priscilla on the arrival of baby number three! We hope they enjoy welcoming Aurelia into their family.
