Talk about a “double bonus!” Miami Heat player Chris Bosh and his wife Adrienne have welcomed their twin sons into the world. The basketball star shared the news on Instagram, writing: “I’m proud to announce the arrival of my new baby boys! Lennox Noel and Phoenix Avery. I couldn’t be happier as a father and husband.”
The couple, who married in 2011, already have two children together: daughter Dylan Skye Bosh (1), and son Jackson Bosh (3). Chris has a daughter, Trinity Bosh (6), from a previous relationship.
A big family was always a dream for the couple; Adrienne told People, “I love having lots of children around, and a big family is wonderful for holidays and other traditions.” adding, “Chris is a great father. He helps me dress the kids, feed them and put them to bed…I would not be having more kids with him if he weren’t so good.”
Chris shared his thoughts about fatherhood on his blog, writing “When I was younger, I would have never imagined that I would have five children. It’s kind of amazing thinking about it now because it makes me realize how far I’ve come and how much I’ve grown as a person and as a man. The immense responsibility of raising young children—caring for them and helping them grow to be generous, loving, successful people—makes me really focus on what I’m doing to protect and provide for them.”
