Alpine ski racer Bode Miller and beach volleyball player Morgan Miller (née Beck) have announced the arrival of a new family member. The couple has welcomed their sixth child together! Their newest arrival was born last month on November 26th.
The couple shared the news of their child’s birth exclusively with People. It’s a girl! She was born on Friday, November 26th at the couple’s home in Orange County, California with the help of midwife Lindsey Meehleis. Their daughter weighed 8 lbs, 5 oz, and measured 22.25 inches long at birth. The couple has not yet chosen a name for their daughter.
When the couple announced their pregnancy in May, they revealed this would be their last child. The couple echoed those sentiments with People again by sharing, “She’s perfect and bringing her into this world was a perfect way to close this chapter of growing our family. Our hearts are so full.” Morgan also reflected on how Bode felt after the arrival of their baby girl. “Bode told me the day after she was born that this is the happiest he thinks he’s ever been in his whole life.”
Morgan and Bode share five children together: four sons: Nash, Easton, twins Asher and Aksel, and daughter Emeline. Sadly, Emeline, who the family affectionately called Emmy, passed away in June 2018 at 19 months old following an accidental drowning. Bode has two children from two previous relationships, a daughter named Dace and a son named Nate.
Congratulations to Morgan and Bode on the arrival of their baby girl! We wish them all the best in deciding on a name for their newest arrival and look forward to hearing which moniker they choose.
