Earlier this month, it was revealed that Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, had welcomed her third child. Not many details were known about Pippa and husband James Matthews’ little one, but now more details have been revealed… including the name the couple chose.

When news that Pippa welcomed her third child came out, it was shared that she welcomed a daughter who was born a couple of weeks ago, at the time. Now, it’s been reported that Pippa gave birth in June. Pippa and James chose a classic name for their daughter: Rose. Coincidentally, roses are the birth flower for the month of June. The name fits a theme for the couple, who chose classic names for their first two children as well: Arthur and Grace.

It’s unclear what Rose’s full name is. Pippa and James have given their other children three names: Arthur Michael William Matthews and Grace Elizabeth Jane Matthews. The couple likely kept up the same naming trend with Rose.

Pippa and James have been together since 2015. They announced their engagement in July of 2016 and married less than a year later on May 20, 2017. They welcomed Arthur in October 2018 and Grace in March 2021.

Congratulations again to Pippa and James on the arrival of their third child! We hope they are enjoying having Rose as a member of their family.
