Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III, who retired from the sport in 2020, has shared exciting news about his family. Robert and his wife Grete Šadeiko, a track athlete, are pregnant! “The blessings just keep coming,” Robert wrote. This newborn will be Robert and Grete’s third child together and will make Robert a father of four.
To announce the news, Robert shared photos of himself with his family, some that featured just Robert and Grete with ultrasound pictures and some that included the whole family. “WE ARE PREGNANT‼️” Robert excitedly began his caption. “So blessed to live life with my best friend @gretegiii and now God has allowed her to bless our family again. This family of 5 will soon be a family of 6.” He then asked his followers to weigh in on their guesses to their newborn’s gender. “Do you think it’s a boy or a girl!?”
For her announcement post, Grete revealed that this newborn will be the couple’s last child. “THE GRAND FINALE!!!! Pregnant with baby #3 and we are soon to be a family of 6! So much love my heart can explode.” Robert and Grete share two daughters together: 4-year-old Gloria and 2-year-old Gameya. Robert also shares a 6-year-old daughter named Reese Ann with his ex-wife Rebecca Liddicoat.
Robert, who will be transitioning his career as a broadcaster and recently announced he will be replacing Randy Moss in the Monday Night Football pregame coverage, announced he and Grete were engaged in May of 2017. The couple welcomed their first child two months later. Robert and Grete tied the knot in March 2018 in a lavish ceremony in Miami.
Congratulations to Robert and Grete on the news of their pregnancy! We wish them lots of love as they prepare to grow their family.
