Professional snowboarder Jamie Anderson is going to be a mom! The Olympic gold medalist announced that she is expecting her first child with her partner Tyler Nicholson, a fellow professional snowboarder. “So incredibly grateful…”

To reveal the news, Jamie shared two black-and-white images showing her growing baby bump. “The most precious and beautiful I’ve ever felt,” she captioned the post. The 25-time-medalist shared that she is seven months along in her pregnancy and has enjoyed a smooth journey thus far. “It’s been a really great pregnancy,” she shared with People, “I feel like I’m finally feeling pregnant, feeling the baby move … I have a whole new appreciation for life and being a woman. It’s pretty incredible.”

Jamie and Tyler, who have been together since 2015, have chosen to keep the sex of their child a surprise. “It’s one of the last surprises in life that are pretty genuine.” While the couple has discussed name ideas, they haven’t settled on anything concrete yet. “I think we’ll know more when we see the baby,” Jamie explained. “We have a lot of ideas but nothing set in stone. I have girl name ideas and Tyler obviously has a lot of guy names. I feel like I’d have to meet the littlest first and see. It might even take me a little time. No hurry, really.”

The decorated Olympic athlete has long desired to become a mother. “For as long as I can remember I’ve always wanted to have kids. You kind of think you can decide exactly when and where and this and that. In my case I feel like it was perfect timing … I’m really grateful. I think it’s going to be the best journey.”

Congratulations to Jamie and Tyler on the news of their pregnancy! We wish them lots of love as they prepare to become parents.
