Another royal baby is on the way – Prince William and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, are expecting their third child, according to an announcement from Kensington Palace.
The press release from Kensington Palace read: “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.”
The announcement further explained that Kate is battling Hyperemesis Gravidarum, or severe morning sickness: “As with her previous two pregnancies, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road Children’s Centre in London today. The Duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace.”
When asked about the baby news at an appearance on Monday, Prince Harry told reporters he felt “fantastic.”
Their new addition will join siblings George and Charlotte.
