Rumer Willis, the daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, is expecting her first child! Rumer shared a series of three images with her boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas showing off her growing baby bump to announce the news.
The actress did not reveal when her first child is due to arrive. The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star and Derek, a musician and producer, have been romantically linked since earlier this year. The couple was met with many congratulations in their post from fellow celebrities. Actor Aaron Paul wrote, “I’m so happy for you my friend. Such beautiful news. Congrats!!!” Reality star Malika Haqq commented, “A tear of joy for you… what a lucky baby.” Actress Danneel Ackles (née Harris) wrote, “Congratulations! The happiest news!!!”
Rumer’s little one will be the first grandchild of her famous parents, and her mother is thrilled at her new role. The “G.I. Jane” star reshared the images of the couple to her Instagram page alongside the caption, “Entering my hot kooky unhinged grandma era.” While Bruce, who recently stepped away from acting following his diagnosis with aphasia, and Demi are divorced, the couple has remained close for their family. Last week, Demi shared a picture of the family that included the 3 children she shares with Bruce and the actor’s wife Emma Heming Willis along with the children he shares with her. “We are FAMILY!!
