Former Olympian Shawn Johnson has announced the gender of her second child with her husband Andrew East!
It’s a boy! The couple was joined by friends and family who helped surprise them with the news. Those invited have squirt guns filled with colored paint and they sprayed down Shawn and Andrew, who were dressed in all white. As they were hit with the blue paint, they learned they were having a boy!
The couple shared the whole experience and discussed learning the gender of their second child on their YouTube channel.
This gender reveal was the first for the couple. When they were pregnant with their first child, a daughter named Drew Hazel, they chose to keep the gender a secret until her arrival. Andrew shared in the video that he had a lot more fun than he expected taking part in a gender reveal.
The couple shared that they were expecting a new baby in January of this year. Their first son is expected to make his arrival this July.
