Influencer Sophia Grace Brownlee is growing her family! Sophia, who rose to fame following her appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show in 2011, announced on her YouTube channel that she is pregnant with her second baby. The news comes 18 months after Sophia welcomed her first baby, a boy named River, in February 2023.
Sophia started her announcement video sharing that she had kept this secret for a long time and that some of her subscribers guessed she was expecting. She wanted to wait “around the 20 week mark” before sharing the news, and revealed that she has almost hit that milestone. Sophia shared that she’s had “both my scans and everything’s been fine so far.” At the time of filming, she revealed she was finding out the sex that day and teased that the video “will be coming soon.”
Similar to her son River, Sophia has kept the identity of her baby’s father private and it’s unclear if both her babies share the same father. In her video, Sophia shared her excitement to give River a sibling. “It’s going to be so nice for him to have a younger sibling. And because they’re quite close in age, they can grow up together, and I just think that’s really sweet.”
For her son’s first birthday this year, Sophia gushed about her little one and being a mom in an interview with E! News. “Mom life obviously has its hard parts but overall I wouldn’t change it for the world. I have loved watching River grow into the 1-year-old he is now and can’t wait to see what the future holds for him. Now he’s getting older, he’s not just a baby that sleeps and eats anymore, he is starting to get his own personality which is super cute and he has his favorite people too. One of them being my dad!”
