Actress Billie Lourd revealed the surprising news that she has become a mother! Carrie Fisher’s daughter announced that she has welcomed a baby boy with her fiancé and fellow actor Austen Rydell.

Billie kept her pregnancy a secret, so it came as quite a shock when she posted a photo announcing the birth of a baby boy! She picked a beautiful name as well, Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell. Fisher, of course, is a nod to Billie’s mother, famous actress Carrie Fisher, who passed away in 2016. Such a sweet way to pay tribute to her mother!

Billie’s last post since announcing Kingston’s arrival was a Mother’s Day message sharing her love for her mother. She shared her tribute along with a black and white photo of them when Billie was just a baby.

This is my 4th Mother’s Day without my Momby and days like today are never easy, but I’ve found that doing things that make me feel more connected to her make it a little easier – watching her favorite movies, listening to music we listened to together, looking through old pictures and my personal favorite – eating + drinking things she loved. (Today I’m going to watch Postcards from The Edge, listen to Tom Petty + Dire Straits, have a fried mozzarella from La Scala and have a couple Coca-Colas with an aggressive amount of ice). The Booksmart actress became engaged to Austen this past June. The couple dated on and off starting in 2016. They reconnected in late 2017 after Billie broke up with her Scream Queens co-star Taylor Lautner. They appear to have been going strong ever since!
