Reality star Whitney Port has revealed that she and her husband Tim Rosenman are pregnant again. The news is bittersweet for the family, as Whitney made the revelation in a tearful video as this is “likely another unhealthy pregnancy,” she shared.
In the YouTube video, The Hills: New Beginnings star, who has suffered two miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy, revealed that she was 7 weeks pregnant. “I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant,” she shared through tears, “which is supposed to be obviously really exciting, and it has been up until yesterday. I have been going to the doctor and monitoring it, because of my history with miscarriages. I’ve had two miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy. And everything was looking good up until yesterday.”
Whitney shared that she and Tim had been to the doctor the day prior. During their ultrasound, the doctor revealed that “whatever was happening in there was not where it was supposed to be, given the week that I’m at.” She showed appreciation for her OB/GYN, who is very sensitive while also be open about what is going on with her body and pregnancy. “He said that he was pessimistic about this pregnancy, and he told me to get blood drawn. So, I will get blood results back today and see if numbers are going up or going down. He thinks they’ll likely be going down. And he is having me come in for another ultrasound on Monday.”
The With Whit podcast host went on to reveal why she chose to share this vulnerable news. “But the moral of the story is, this is likely another unhealthy pregnancy. It’s such a huge part of our lives right now, and it affects everything, physically and mentally and everything that we do. And it just felt like an opportunity to just share it, because I couldn’t just sit here and go on with my life and not share it. And I know that there’s likely so many people out there that have had to deal with this.”
Later in the video, she went on to share some positive news with an update on her pregnancy. She shared that her doctor “actually saw an embryo and a heartbeat, which is something that we were not expecting.” The couple asked fans to “keep your fingers crossed” for them as the continue to share updates.
Whitney and Tim welcomed their first child together in 2017, a son named Sonny Sanford. We wish Whitney good health and all the best as she continues with her pregnancy.
