HE HAS ARRIVED! 8lbs of beautiful baby boy. Witnessing @therealrachelsullivan bring our first son into this world, after 20 hours of labor, was one of the great honors of my life. It was primal and intentional and I have never been more in love with this powerful woman. She and baby are resting and recovering well. Everyone is healthy and exhausted. His NAME, you ask? Keep an eye on @people’s website for updates.
Chris took to Instagram to share the news, posting a photo of his new baby boy’s little feet. He teased in the caption to watch out for the exclusive from People to learn what he and Rachel chose to name their son Bear Maxwell Sullivan. What a strong name! The name Bear has an American origin that means “Bear-like” and Maxwell is an English name that means “From Maccus’ Spring.”
Chris shared that he was in awe of his wife, who he married in 2010, during the birth of Bear. ” Witnessing [Rachel] bring our first son into this world, after 20 hours of labor, was one of the great honors of my life. It was primal and intentional and I have never been more in love with this powerful woman.”
The couple announced in January that they were expecting and revealed the gender at the same time. Chris shared the news in a very unique way. He posted a sonogram picture of his son and then told his followers to swipe to learn the gender. The remaining pictures in the post were all phallic-shaped images like a banana and the leaning tower of Pisa. Definitely a unique way to spread the news!
